1869 $20 The Quincy Mining Company note from Hancock, Michigan.

This is one of the two denominations issued by the Quincy Mining Company that was printed. The company had $10 and $20 scrips with printed denominations, all other scrip had hand-written amounts. 

This note has a very light orange undertint with a white "Q. M. Co." at the center. The scrip is printed in green with a blue serial number. 

The Quincy Mine was an Upper Peninsula copper mine known as "Old Reliable". 

This scrip grades Very Fine with a cross-cut cancellation, spindle holes, pinholes, and some rust. 

It measures ~ 7.75" x 3".
