This railroad issued these colorful and attractive "Fare Tickets" following the Civil War as a way of getting around prohibitions against circulating privately issued paper money. 

This note printed in black and green features a detailed Vignette of men loading cotton onto a wagon at the center.

This note grades Very Good+ with punch cancellations, minor internal breaks / splits and a couple tiny tears on the bottom.

It measures ~ 7" x 3".
