1863 $1 The American Bank note from Baltimore, Maryland.
This bank operated from 1856 until it failed in 1858. It was revived and failed again in the early 1860's.
This note features a large Vignette of ships above the bank title. Bold green micro-letters make up the left panel along with a small Vignette of a ram with babies. On the bottom right is a portrait of Webster.
This note grades Very Fine with many small pinholes / breaks, a tiny hole at the center, and a few large splits across the center crease.
It measures ~ 7.25" x 3".
