This note from the popular "Cotton Pledged" series is printed on plain paper with a light orange/pink undertint and blue underprints. "Cotton Pledged" and a Crest with star, flags, cannons, and cotton bales are in blue! At the upper left is a Vignette of a farmer standing with grain and sickle. On the right, an Indian brave stands with a large bow and a tomahawk.
This Civil War era note grades Very Good / Fine with small edge tears / nicks and a small repair on the bottom left edge.
