This Civil War era note was printed on the back of recycled sheets from the La Grange Bank of Georgia. The notes from the La Grange Bank had nice orange designs on the reverse that add an interesting overprint to the face of these from the Mechanics Savings & Loan Association.
This note grades Very Good / Fine with pinholes / breaks, mounting residue on the reverse, and a couple tears on the bottom left corner.
It measures ~ 6.25" x 2.5".
