This bank operated from 1857 until it failed in the 1860's. 

This attractive note is printed with a bold green tint and has "X" overprints over the top counters. At the center is a Vignette of Plenty and Industry seated. The portraits at the bottom are of Buchanan and Calhoun.

This Civil War era note grades Very Fine with a couple pinholes at the center. 

It measures ~ 7" x 3".
