1861 $5 The Bank of Lexington note from Lexington, North Carolina.
This note has a detailed Vignette of Industry and Commerce seated on a bale of cotton at the center which can also be found on the Confederate T-6 notes! On the lower left is a Vignette of cotton picking and on the lower right men lift heavy bales.
This note grades Very Fine with some minor breaks / pinholes.
It measures ~ 7" x 3".
