1859 $10 The Bank of Chattanooga note from Chattanooga, Tennessee.

This bank operated from 1854 until it failed in the 1860's.

This example was redeemable at the Bank of Memphis!

It features a detailed Vignette of a train above the title.

These were printed in sheets of $10-$10-$10-$10. Each sheet position had a different railroad name on the box car. This is the "B" plate which has "Memphis & Ohio" on the Vignette!

This note grades Fine with many pinholes (mostly around the center), a couple hinges on the reverse and a small repair on the top right edge. 

It measures ~ 7" x 3".
