1856 $3 The Western Exchange Fire & Marine Insurance Co. note from Omaha City, Nebraska.

This lovely note from the Nebraska Territorial days features a Vignette of an Indian Hunter on horseback hunting a buffalo.

This example has the "Kewanee" stamp vertically on the right end.  

It's dated 1856 instead of printed 1857. 

This note grades Fine+ with a punch cancellation, some pinholes, a couple small tears on the top and a chip on the left edge. 

It measures ~ 7" x 3".
