1855 $10 The Bank of the Republic note from Providence, Rhode Island.

This short-lived bank only operated from 1854 until it failed in 1856. 

This note features a Vignette of a farmer and his wife chatting by a watering trough above the bank title. At the lower left is a portrait of Benjamin Franklin, and to the lower right is an Eagle perched on a shield. A "TEN" protector is printed in red. 

This note grades Fine with pinholes.

It measures ~ 7" x 3".
