1854 $1 The Exchange Bank (Spurious) note from Hartford, Connecticut.

This bank operated from 1834 until 1864 when it became the National Bank of Hartford. 

This Spurious design features multiple Vignettes of allegorical maidens. At the top is a bare-breasted Hebe pouring a cup for her father, Zeus, in the guise of an eagle.

This Spurious note grades Fine with pinholes and a chip on the bottom right corner.

It measures ~ 6.75" x 2.8".
