1852 $20 The Bank of Washington note from Washington, North Carolina.

The Bank of Washington operated from 1851 until it failed in 1866. 

This is the variety with the grey "TWENTY" protector at the bottom. 

Above the title, and Indian sits with a bow while peering over a hill to observe a cabin and a lake. On the lower right is a Vignette of Ceres instructing an Indian Princess. The portrait on the lower left is William H. Graham who served as a Senator for both the United States and the Confederate legislatures, Secretary of the Navy, and North Carolina Governor. 

This note grades Fine with some tiny pinholes and a small nick on the top right.

It measures ~ 7.25" x 3".
