This bank operated from 1831 until 1864 when it became the Merchants National Bank of Boston.
This spurious design features a Vignette of a sailor seated by the shore. On the bottom right is an interesting ship building Vignette.
This Spurious note grades Fine with some pinholes and a ~5/8" tear on the top.
