This bank operated from 1853 until it failed in 1865. These earlier notes are printed with "Chesterville" as the town name but later notes were changed to "Chester" as the town name changed.
This note features a detailed Vignette of The Surrender of Cornwallis at Yorktown above the bank title. On the bottom corners are portraits of Jefferson and Washington.
This note grades Very Good / Fine with some pinholes and some large internal breaks on the "TCC & Co." watermark.
