1850's $2 The Cochituate Bank note from Boston, Massachusetts.
This note features a large gray "2" near the center with Liberty surrounded by allegorical Cherubs on the lower right and a Mechanic seated by his tools on the upper left. A "TWO" protector is printed in red near the bottom.
This note grades Very Good with pinholes, edge nicks, and a couple small tears on the left edge.
