This was a non-existent bank, represented only by fraudulent notes, intended to pass for those of the Merchants & Mechanics Bank of Troy which operated from 1829 until 1865.
This note features a Vignette of a mechanic seated above the title and has a "ONE" protector in red.
This Spurious note grades Very Fine with some pinholes, light stains and a tiny tear on the top edge.
