1841 $10 The Towanda Bank note from Towanda, Pennsylvania.

This bank operated from 1835 until it failed in 1843.  

This note features a Vignette of a milkmaid resting by the river with a waterwheel seen in the distance. On the left is a detailed Vignette of Justice leaning on a column with sword and scales. George Washington's portrait is in the right panel with ornate decorations. A small train is printed between signature lines. 

This note grades Choice Very Fine with hinges on the left and right edges.

It measures ~ 7" x 3".
