This bank was originally chartered in Michigan Territory in 1835 and was inherited by the Wisconsin Territory when it was organized in 1836. The bank failed in 1839.
At the top left is a bare-breasted Vignette of Hebe, the Goddess of Eternal Youth offering a cup to her father, Zeus, in the guise of an Eagle. Above "Wisconsin" is the Treaty of Prairie du Chien (1825).
This note grades Very Good / Fine with small edge nicks / tears, a few edge repairs and some minor pinholes.
It measures ~ 7.25" x 3".
