1800's $4 The Bank of Augusta note from Augusta, Georgia.

This note from the early 1800's was used as a host to print fractional notes on the reverse during the Civil War. The fractional sheet was unissued and someone decided to save the earlier $4 note instead of the fractionals resulting in this early note with Civil War era notes printed on the back. 

This note features a Vignette of Archimedes lifting the world with a lever, flanked by "4" counters. Benjamin Franklin is printed on the far left and George Washington on the far right.

This note grades Extremely Fine. 

It measures ~ 6.8" x 2.8".
