This bank operated from 1859 until 1864 when it became the First National Bank of Plainfield. 

A man with his horse pass by a busy wheelwright's shop beneath the bank title. An allegorical maiden stands by a column with "UNION" on it. A bold "THREE" protector panel is printed in red at the bottom!
