1800's $1 The Timber Cutter's Bank note from Savannah, Georgia.
This short lived bank operated from 1858 until it failed in the 1860's.
This note is printed with a red "ONE" protector! Above the title is an interesting lumber and sap harvesting Vignette with an overseer on horseback. On the bottom left is a Vignette of cotton picking.
This note grades Fine with a few pinholes, stains, and a residue stain on the left that appears like a thin spot.
It measures ~ 6.75" x 3".
