$139.00

This note from the American Civil War features a Vignette of an allegorical maiden reclining on bales with ships in the distance. The Collecting Confederate Paper Money reference says it is Ceres, the Goddess of Agriculture but the symbolism is more commonly seen on Commerce.

This note is very similar in design to the XX-2 and XX-3 Confederate Fantasy notes.

This note grades Very Fine with a nick on the top, some pinholes, and a light line on the top edge that looks like light paper scuffs or stains, possibly from a paper clip.

It measures ~ 7.25" x 3".
