This note has the same design as the T-44 note but with a "1 ONE" green overprint added by B. Duncan. The Confederacy was unwilling to pay for the extra cost of the overprint and Duncan soon dropped it.
At the center is a Vignette of a sidewheeler on rough seas. The figure to the left represents Liberty standing by a shield.
The portrait on the lower right is Mrs. Lucy Pickens, the wife of the governor of South Carolina.
This note grades Fine with a punch cancellation and pinholes.
