The T-44's are the first $1 denomination issued by the Confederacy. At the center is a Vignette of a sidewheeler on rough seas. The figure to the left represents Liberty standing by a shield. The portrait on the lower right is Mrs. Lucy Pickens, the wife of the governor of South Carolina.
This note grades Fine with pinholes, a hole on the right, and a ~1/4" tear on the bottom right edge.
It measures ~ 6" x 2.75".
