This note grades Very Good with pinholes, a couple tiny holes, small edge nicks and a chip on the bottom edge.
This note has the same design as the T-42 note but with a "2 TWO" green overprint added by B. Duncan.
The Confederacy was unwilling to pay for the extra cost of the overprint and Duncan soon dropped it.
This note features a Vignette at the center representing the South Striking Down the North. At the upper left is a portrait of Judah P. Benjamin, a noted Jewish lawyer and states man who was Secretary of War and then State for the Confederacy.
It measures ~ 6.25" x 2.75".
