1862 T-39 $100 The Confederate States of America Note.
This note from the American Civil War features a popular train Vignette at the center with white steam and smoke coming from it. On the lower left is a detailed Vignette of a milkmaid walking with a bucket on her head. These notes paid a 7.3% annual interest rate; double that of the First Series notes of Montgomery and Richmond.
This Civil War era note grades Very Fine with a printing wrinkle down the middle, some minor pinholes and a repaired ink burn tear on the bottom edge.
It measures ~ 7.5" x 3.25".
