This contemporary CTFT. from the American Civil War features a Vignette of a maiden, representing Industry, seated behind an ornate "20" with a winged Cupid holding a staff of Mercury to her left, and a beehive to her right (also represents Industry). At the far right, Hope leans on an anchor with a palm tree in the background. To the lower left is a portrait of Alexander H. Stephens, the Vice President of the Confederacy.
This variety is printed on paper watermarked "J. Whatman, 1861" with "Whatman" showing and part of "1861". It's listed in the Tremmel reference as Rarity 9!
